Ahoy matey!

It's nice to sit for a moment and look out over the water after a long day of buckling swashes.  At least I don't do the stuff that Captain Burbridge did!

Did you see that?

I believe...

...the truth is out there.

Midsummer Fires

Midsummer is normally a time of joy and celebration.  The weather is warm, as are the hearts that dance, sing, and come together for the heartfelt traditions.  But this year something seems different, I can sense it.  Something calls me to the woods.

I knew it was her, this book proves it!  I must find the proper ingredients to protect the village, nay the world, from her wrath!

Where should I search?  I stop a moment to collect my thoughts in the tavern, but I haven't much time, the sun is lowering in the sky.

These sweet creatures too are in danger.  Perhaps they can guide me to the items I need.

If only the weapons he makes were enough, or that the archer could simply hit her from a safe distance.

Oh no!  Come back sweet dog, I need that!  If only you understood.

This place makes me uneasy, and I swear I can hear her voice on the wind.  I must get what I came for and move on.

This is home, and I can't let them know what is coming, but can they not see the storm brewing in those clouds?

The spirits here chill me, but they cannot stop me now, not when I am so close.  The sun is so low now.

The fire is lit!  She rises!  Do I have what it takes to stop this from happening?  I've gathered the ingredients, now I must speak the words...

What a smash!

I never knew that traipsing around smashing eggs with a giant rolling pin would be so much fun, but that is egg-xactly what I did for Easter this year.  The eggs were all so pretty, and I felt a little guilty ruining someone's hard work, but apparently this little guy didn't mind.
